about

This song is about how much I despise our lust for war and power. We put more money into defense than education, healthcare, and environmental care COMBINED. Young men are sent to foreign lands being taught to deny that the people they're shooting at could've been neighbors if given a different set of circumstances. They die in these lands in the name of freedom, democracy, and peace; and we honor that memory by restricting these back home? Point is, if we took all the money we spent on defense and instead spent it on feeding, clothing, and educating the poor around the world (not one person excluded) we can become a beacon of light like we once were; less people would die, and we can be happier.....
....but that's just my opinion y'all.

Hallelujah Hysteria will be released on Friday, April 19th.

lyrics

We hear the footsteps approaching from the west
We here are not to kind of poaching, be we welcome you as our guest
Cause I hear it getting louder
And they started using powder
and I'm looking over my shoulder for War Elephants

They've been around us for half a century - like a pest
Some men don't make it back from Navy, but we want you to try your best
Cause they'll pay for a job and
They'll put a gun in your damn hand
and you'll shoot another brown man for the War Elephants

We preach for service, God, and country - What a joke!
The thick black smoke of our great irony makes me choke
But I'm not the only victim
In their f**k up little system
As we listen to the dictum from the War Elephants

We are the War Elephants
Our stars predict profits
Now hand us in your prophets
Take thoughts from all of them
Make robots out of man
And stomp through Vietnam, Iraq (I wreck) and then Iran (I ran).
